Pashmina Shawls is said be originated in the 3rd century BC. The artistic weavers come from Kashmir and surrounding area. This too at height 14,000 feet. The process is said to start in the spring with Changthangi Goat which is famous for its wool. The wool industry was founded by 15th century monarch Zainul Abedin.
